Where does the team stand? Safety and sharpness.

Safety (7 statements)
Sharpness (3 questions)

Why two axes. Whoever measures safety alone can reward a team that is slipping. Only the combination of safety and clear expectations brings a team into the learning zone (Edmondson, 2019). The team picture also shows the spread: a team in which everyone scores 3.8 is a different team from one with the same average and outliers down to 2; a large spread is the not-shared signal.

Item set according to Stop Solving (Campman, 2026), chapter 15, table 4: the same seven safety statements as the team safety measurement, with the three sharpness questions about the last meeting alongside (decision, argued objection, closed-out action). Safety: the items of Edmondson (1999); safety beside sharpness: Edmondson (2019), chapter 15. Scale 1 to 5; self-report, without a comparison group. This is an indication for the conversation in the team, not an assessment of people. Privacy policy
